It’s March and the time of year to celebrate with the Irish!  Yes, it’s that time of the season when the Penguins celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with specialty commemorative warm-up jerseys.

 

Don’t delay…Penguins fans have the opportunity now to bid and win a Penguins authentic St. Patrick’s Day warm-up jersey by visiting pens.givesmart.com.

 

This unique auction began on Tuesday, March 16 when the Penguins players wore the specialty jerseys during pre-game warmups prior to their home game against the Boston Bruins.  The auction will end on March 23 at 12 PM EST.

 

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Penguins Foundation’s vast array of children’s programming with an emphasis on education, wellness and youth hockey.

 

The St. Patrick’s Day warm-up jersey auction is one of only a few specialty jersey auctions hosted by the Penguins Foundation this season.  Upcoming auctions will include commemorative Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys on March 29 and Veterans & Military Appreciation jerseys on April 20.
