On Saturday, March 7, the annual Penguins Charity Game on AT&T SportsNet returns for the 9th straight season to support the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and Mario Lemieux Foundation. To date, Penguins Charity Game has raised $12 million for the two charities.
For one game only, a total of 8,100 Penguins Charity Bags stuffed with memorabilia and more will go on sale online and at PPG Paints Arena starting at 11:45AM. The Penguins take on the Washington Capitals at 1PM.
The 2020 Penguins Charity Bag includes 17 items and features a set of four (4) player bobbleheads plus an autographed puck signed by a member of the current roster or by Mario Lemieux.
Three Penguins Charity Bag styles will be available. The Gold Charity Bag ($1,066) guarantees an autographed jersey, while the Black Charity Bag ($266) provides fans with the chance-to-win an autographed jersey. New this season, the Platinum Charity Bag ($5,000) includes all items in the Gold Charity Bag plus it includes an Evgeni Malkin player-used stick and a set of six (6) goal pucks in a custom box. Only 50 Platinum Charity Bags are available.
