Tis the season to assist… the hockey season that is! From December 18 through December 22, the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation will be assisting organizations and the local community during the 2nd Annual Week of Assists. Each day during the designated week, the Penguins Foundation will be conducting an act of kindness in our region. To follow along and see where the daily surprise assist pops up, be sure to follow the Penguins Foundation on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

In addition, at the Penguins game on December 21 during the Week of Assists, the Penguins Foundation will be spreading holiday cheer on the PPG Paints Arena concourse near Section 104 outside of the KeyBank Club. Fans attending this game are encouraged to stop by to visit the Tree of Assists and to learn how they can be a part of the Foundation’s Week of Assists.

Finally, the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation encourages all fans, both near and far, to participate in the Week of Assists. Fans may share their own random act of kindness on social media using #WeekOfAssists and #MyPensAssist. Or, fans may join in by donating online to support the mission of the Penguins Foundation and belief that ‘Kids Are the Future.’
